Posting Photos First you need to set-up an account at a photo hosting web-site. I prefer the following: PhotoBucket: photobucket.com/Once your account is active, you need to upload your photos there. If you use Photo Bucket, after uploading, just go to the photo you want to post and copy the URL and paste it in your message according to the directions below. On this board just click on the picture icon. It is the 4th gray button from the left on the bottom row of buttons when you post a message. You will then see: image-URL-image in your new message. · Highlight “URL” and paste the address there. · That is all there is to it. · PLEASE make sure you have reduced your pictures to a smaller size for the forum. Please don't post photos over 550 pixels wide.

Here is a link to NetMechanic's GIFBot tool to optimize your pictures before you post them. It does not change the size of the image but will reduce the time they take to load on a page by up to 70%.......and it is free. It is also very easy to use. netmechanic.com/GIFBot/optimize-graphic.htmBob

Coon what picture service are you using?
When you are doing you post there is a part above the message that says Add tags: right above the smilies.
One of those grey boxes has a picture with a white frame around it. It is under the S with a slash. When you click on that it says {img]URL[/img} erase the URL and insert your http: address of where the picture is. That is it. Shot me an email if this is not to clear.

Rem223PA go over to the Big Game Hunting forum and look for a thread started by me that says One Good Wolf. Open that thread. When the picture is completey opend, right click on it and then scroll down and click properties. When the little window pops up you will see the http:// address of the picture. Put your cursor left of the H in http and then right click it and drag your cursor acrossed the whole address. The right click on the blue highlighted area and click Copy. Then hit the OK button at the bottom. Now go to whatever forum it is that you want to post a picture on and either start a new thrwad or post a reply to an old thread. Once your window opens for the new thread or the reply screen comes up, put your cursor in the reply box then click on the icon that has IMG on it. There should be 2 things show up on the screen and they will look like this URL [/img] put your cursor between those two tags and then right click your mouse button and click paste. If there is a URL in between those 2 tags prior to pasting your picture url, delete it first before you paste your url in between those 2 tags. Now I'm really confused myself. ;D

REM223PA your hosting server may not allow cross posting of your pictures and that could be one reason your pictures don'r show up.
e-mail me your photo mailbox addy or post it here and I'll see if it works for me.

I think I see the problem with the turkey picture. In the URL there is nothing that identifies what kind of picture it is, Example it doesn't say JPEG, BMP or anything like that.

Good pics!

I am using villagephotos, Has there been any problem with them? I just logged on one time and my picture was gone, it was my blue heeler DAISY and she is upset now because it is gone!

This is what I got when I checked your photo's URL: "The owner of this file has exceeded their daily usage limit."
You apparently have too many photos being transferred than your account allows. You can either get a paid account at VP or just upload some to ImageStation.com
