I saw that thread on AR also. I wouldn't hold my breath on being able to do a Cape Buffalo hunt in Texas. I also agree that it would be cheaper to go to Africa and hunt one there than what they would charge here anyway.....

Man, that is showing up everywhere!! No way I see that happening, waaay too much liability and we all know how much insurance companies love liability!

I don't know about that. I understand, or rather have heard, there's a guy south of Leakey, I think just north of Reagan Wells that has a couple of Cape Buffalo now. He is apparently from New York who bought a big piece of land and is setting it up.

Texas has everything else! ;D Why not a buff? In africa there are many hunted behind fences so it is possible.
