Is a moderator kinda like a teacher, or is it the one that has to buy the beer when we have a gathering. Congrats and looking forward to a hunt.

I realized after I posted that that your not really the "new moderator" anymore sorry. I am new here. Just starting my predator stuff (mainly fox) again I have not really hunted much since I went in the army. But now that I am retired I finally got my bird dog and have a blast.....

Welcome to the board..... Glad you are taking the time to get back into bird hunting. What kind of dog do you have and what do you hunt? Hunting with a dog adds a new dimension to the deal, IMO. I don't consider myself an expert dog trainer, but learned some things from my Dad when I was growing up - he trained field trial setters. If I can't be of help will at least point you in the right direction. I have a really good lab. I always liked to duck hunt before I got her, but its even more fun with her....... |
