Duck hunters are hear?
i started duck huntin about 5 yrs ago and you talk about a rush,,,,man if ya have never done it you need to try it

Welcome to the board, TD. Hope you spend some time here and post often. You can count me in as an avid duck hunter and wing shooter as well. Would rather duck (and dove and quail and turkey and goose) hunt than eat when I'm hungry.  |

  If you guys love to duck hunt, then you'll go absolutely CRAZY over a GOOSE HUNT Especially during snow goose or the early season. We hunted just outside Victoria, and about official sunrise, it looked like the entire ground was lifting up. All those snows and blues took off as if they were given a signal to start flying. No way to describe it other than totally unbelievable! If you want a fabulous time contact the Blue Goose Lodge in Alltair, TX! ;D

Hey JD - I work in Katy - the goose hunting in those rice fields is about as good as it gets!
(But where you are is also outstanding!)
