I was fortunate enough to be able to meet and visit with Dead Eye in Blanco, TX yesterday for supper. We had a two hour contest to see who could tell the tallest tales. He is from Hobbs, NM and had to come over to Austin for business so I drove up to Blanco to meet him.........yes, he does work in addition to shooting prairie dogs and calling predators! I am really looking forward to heading out his way to do some hunting with him and BozoWise. Those of you going on the 2nd Member's Hunt will get to meet them! It is really great to be able to get out and meet some of the Posse. We really are getting a good group of rascals put together here!! I enjoyed it, Dead Eye! Bob

Bob if I had know in advance I would have sent you some prozak to help you make it through an entire meal with DeadEye.
Did he tell you about the attack dogs in our area. They have formed a gang and most of them charge and attack. Bennie and the guys over at the PM forum can tell you all about them, but I'll save those stories for the P-dog forum.

Deadeye... I would love to come out and shoot at PDs. For the last 5 years or so I have been driving all the way to South Dakota... and that's a long way. This past summer I took 5 rifles and 2300 rounds of ammo. Had a great time. I have been going to what has been called "The Prairie Dog Conference". This year I won a Custom 220 Swift built on a Montana 1999 action and barrel. Are you out there by BozoWise? I actually grew up in Albuquerque, but didn't really get into shooting prairie dogs until several years after I left NM.
