Had to have surgery on the 18th and will be confined to the house until March 8th . I will have time to read about all the Posse members hunts . I had to stay on the couch Wenesday and Thursday but I had my binoculars out checking the ducks that were landing on the pond behind my house . I've got a sliding patio door that gives me a good view off my deck on the back of the house . I will be looking forward to reading about all you Posse members out there hunting . ;D

Man I feel for ya! I had a little run in back September last year and got to miss deer season and worst off didn't get to go calling but once and that was a couple weeks ago. Get to feeling better. Best of luck.

When this happened I guess I had so much adrenalin going that it didn't start hurting for 30 minutes or so . What concerned me most was the way that my testicle swelled and turned black . An eight ball on the pool table didn't have nothing on me .

I had a similar situation when I was in the army, we made a night jump and I went through a tree, kinda got one hung on a limb. The ole adreniline didn't let me feel it for a few, but when it did felt like it was torn off. Didn't require surgery (probably would have in civilian life) , but did take a long time to heal properly. One hung low for a while. Should have kept those feet together like they said , huh.

I got stepped on by a Bull and it messed up my left testicle and vascular chords . The Dr. in OKC said I should make a full recovery , the surgery went well . Thanks for the thoughts . I hope you guys will take a couple of yotes for me ;D. I should be able to get out and hunt again in March . Makes me kinda wonder what you were trying to do with that Bull?? ;D ;D ;D LOL. Sorry Okie - I just couldn't help myself!!!

Boy I hope you wern't at OU Medical! those rooms ain't cheap! my little 3 day stay was over $17,500.00, that ain't counting the cuttin' and other goodies. And I wonder why Im gonna miss out on the p-dog hunt? OU has some good doctors but I guess they have to make up for all the folks that can't pay by nailing the people who they think can pay. I bet a kid (Joe) back in 8th grade to pee on a hot wire, I know what your talking about when you say 8 ball and boy did he cry alot! but as you can tell he wasn't all that bright!

Okieyoter, Wish you a speedy recovery,it stinks when you get put out of commission during any hunting season.Jan.2,03,I broke 2 ribs when I slipped and fell backwards on my ice auger ice-fishing,took me a little over an hour to crawl 1ooyds. to my truck I was alone that day. It put me out of commision for 6 1/2 weeks ,then on top of that I was scheduled for a vasectomy during that time too ,I thought may as keep that appt. anyway and get all the misery over with. And the part that hurt worst was not being able to get out and call coyotes.Well keep your chin up,and again I wish ya a speedy recovery and before you know it you'll be up and running.
