Heck, that looks like one of my ex wives with short hair. How many people on a stand depends what kind of predator hunting you're doing. It's always best to have two people when making brush stands, one watches downwind and the other guy watches the back door. When truck hunting 3 is best, one driver, one lighter and a shooter if legal. Hunting on your own is ok, but you have nobody to share the stories with and you'll probably miss seeing more animals. As far as the most people I have ever had on a stand. I took my brother his girlfriend at the time and her two sisters I believe that was 5 of us. They wanted me to show them how to call in a coyote, so I took them to a place you can't hunt and put them all behind bushes and told them not to move or talk. The first stand I called in more coyotes then I could count lol, it also scared the heck out of those girls. The best part of the stand was the look on there faces when they saw coyotes running everywhere lol, That was a long time ago too, I think back in the 60s. Have a good one guys.

Usually just the two of us, Patsy and myself because of what Bobcat said. Your partners need to understand whats going on with the minimum of talking. Mind reading is good.
However, my best freind often hunts with us and the three of us do quite well. We get in without gettin busted most of the time and almost always call something. It's sure good to hear that gun finally go off, especially when he's guarding the back door.
I think the most I've had tag along for a show is five. Called a coyote and Patsy shot it. Two guys were just lookin and couldn't move. It was 11:30 am, bright sunshine, spring morning. They were astonished. I was glad the coyote cooperated.

By the way,
Doorgunner, I sure do like that picture. I know I went to grade school with that ole boy and his nine brothers. He quit in the sixth grade though, when he got drafted on his eighteenth birthday.

For me it has been TWO but if you knew the other person's hunting techniques, you would realized that was way too many. After bringing that un-named person I realized that I do a lot better hunting by myself or someone that is better than me like my dad.

I agree if hunting in a rack at night 3 is the number, 2 is ok also. We usually have 1 with the rifle, 1 with the shot gun, and 1 running the light and caller or doing the calls. Seems to work best for us. During the day 2 would be max. Kinda hard to leave the other fellow out but it happens. The most I have every taken was 5 and it was a disaster. The kids where good for the first couple of sets, but forgot where they where on the last 3. The longer we stayed out the louder they got. We kinda figured it would happen that way but they had never been before.

me and four kids . i do think it is a team sport and i realy don't mind getting busted .
it realy depends on the team!!! i got busted every witch way last week but thought it was funny to see a 11 year old stand up on my high rack and tell me in a firm voice ( there it is) after 5 set up an nothing called in,at 2 in the morning when i finally got a bobcat in my light or seeing one of them try to get his scope on a fox that ant hanging around or just fall a sleep. and then to think of a the hunt that he or she will do latter in live that i may onl;y be on in thought.. i guess it all on the team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
