Hey DD,
I was wondering when this would catch your eye. I know you shoot a .577.....what is it? 577NE?
What load/bullet combination do you shoot?

The rifle is a Ruger #1,has a 22" Pac nor bbl,integral Muzzle break,express sights,(two leaf).Recessed safety,two mecury reducers in the stock.the stock and forearm are the standard ruger wood. The finish on it is parkerized. Some day in the future the wood will be replaced with some Bastogne walnut and the metal will be rust blued.
As for loads,I have a 650 gr woodleigh that goes 2000fps,pretty fun to shoot.
750 woodleigh FMJ 2350! This one gets your attention.
The fun one is 565 gr Hawks around 2000 like shooting an '06 ;D
I am serious about getting together at a range if some of you would like to shoot this rifle,I tell everyone it is like shooting a twelve gauge,not violent like the T-Rex footage. The break on this rifle is very effective.
