Glad to see you got your bow, althought it wasn't the one you started out for.
Check out the Simmons landshark broadheads.
Also read the Starting out- maybe thread in this section for other choices.

I use Thunderheads and Phantoms with equal results though I have seen the Phantoms plane in wind. The main thing is to shoot something your comfortable with which means you need to try them ;D

If your looking for a broadhead to use, try crimson talon broadheads. They are a little pricy for three, but they are well worth the money.

FWIW, my opinion is a good broadhead that has a seperate tip. What I mean to say is that broadheads like Steelforce use the razor as the tip. one time in the dirt, and throw that baby away. I currently use Thunderheads, as I have heard good things about them, and they don't use the blade as the tip. Is my explaination as clear as mud?

I haven't bow hunted since I wa a kid back in MI in the late 60"s. I am just now starting to gear up to tackle it all over again. Which head would be a good choice for use on Grizzly/Brown Bear? I need a total weight at a minnimum of 300 grains including the shaft. Head has to be at least 7/8" wide.
