Man, I'm so tired of it raining every weekend, that I'm seriously thinking of starting to hunt coyotes in the rain. It's getting so bad around here that I'm starting to buy AR15's again. In a few weeks things are going to slow down at work, and I'm outta here for about a week to go coyote hunting. You guys can come if you want, but I'm going, rain, sleet, snow, natural disaster, or whatever. This sitting at home stuff sucks!

Got the fever too, DG.
Think this next weekend I'll be back at the lease........ May even go down to Cuero for a hog hunt.

texasshooter, It is the new VX III 4.5-14X50. I dont have a variXIII to compare, but I am very pleased with it. Very clear and bright. This is the first Leopold I have purchased and I am not disapointed. It has the 30mm tube instead of a 1 inch. Supposed to gather more light. I was in the market for a new one and decided to wait until the new VX III's came out. Finally found a gun shop that would order one. Took 1 day. I bought the regular duplex, thats just my favorite. If it aint broke dont fix it.
