They didn't just get Kariya, they also got Teemu Selanne, his former RW. They will be very tough this season as will Detroit and Dallas.

Sounds like a bet is in the offing. I am willing to wager a few American bucks that the Dallas (Super) Stars will go further in the playoffs than the Vancouver (wait until next year) Canucks .

Ahhh, a bet. I would love to, but I cannot afford American dollar$, eh. But maybe next year ? Seriously, the Stars got more money$ tied up in Pierra Turgeon the next 3 yrs then the Canucks will pay their top 2 lines this year. Ahhhh, to have money and be foolish ;D

Yeah - poor old Marcus Nasland and Todd Bertuzzi are right at the gates of the poor house, I'm sure. Watched the Avs dismantle the Stars last night. They are really impressive. If their goaltending holds up and injuries don't crop up too badly, there will be no stopping them.

Haha, yeah, I'm sure Bert & Nazzy are able to feed their kids alright Hey, the lowest paid full time NHLer is still making primo-coin. I watched the Stars game last night too. They had the Avs running the first half of the first though. If Turco would stay in his net, he'd do a bit better. Ahhh, but it is fun to watch.

Hey Todd,
Congratulations on the bear. I've heard stories about there being lands north of Texas. I guess now I know it's true.
I would like to go on a bear hunt. Too much going on right now though.
