FWIW, if you go to www.ozona.com/crockettcounty/click on Hunting Leases and there are a bunch of listings. A lot of em are taken this year, but it is a place to look..........a lot of big ranches.

On the subject of the location, I think Doc has a good idea with the northern part of South Texas. That area will have deer, turkey probably, hogs, dove, and perhaps javalina and some exotics. That would give us good year round activity... And I think we can all agree Doc has more experience than probably all the rest of us combined when it comes to this sorta thing Plus, its not far from Austin

Thats a pretty good list of counties, what about Edwards?? Those wouldn't be TOO far for BozoWise and DeadEye either. At least not compared to deep south Texas.......

Been a little slow gettin to all the post since I got back in town but the list looks good Doc. I'll agree with most here on the price and acreage as well as the family and guest part. Hopefully I havent already missed the boat on this one like I did the goat hunt Let me know if I can help.

Man, this is sounding better all the time. That is really gamey country and the dove hunting can also be outstanding as well (in the right places ) .....

PLEASE don't use the term 'gamey' until absolutely necessary in connection with this group!!

I talked to my step dad this morning FloydS and he said he would be interested if the location worked. He would say so himself, but his computer skills are limited. Lucky he can shoot his rifle better than using a computer keyboard.
