Of retirement in the martial arts! Some of you know that I am a black belt holder in Kodokan judo, but have been retired from competition for quite some time. I have talked with my doctor and got his approval for me to take up Karate. Remember now, I just turned 63 years old the 16th of this month. I have paid my first month's dues in school of Bushido-Kai, which is a japaneze style of karate. My very first lesson will be tomorrow night. Wish me luck guys!

:PBen Gay heck... you'd better get the whirlpool fired up. I envy you Cronk... I had to sit and watch my daughter qualify in Regional and National AAU for 5 years! I wanted to join her so bad, but with two bum knees that had a mind of their own, I just couldn't get there.

GonHuntin, Nothing like that sir, but I do in fact have a skeleton in my closet. Well guys, I made it through my first martial arts class alright. Leg muscles are a bit sore today, but not too bad. I did pace myself during that class though. I want weight loss and better muscle tone, not heart attack if you know what I mean.
