I know there's no season but when are the little fellas out and about?? I'm guessing they keep to the burrows pretty much during the cold months, is that right??

Kelly, We usually start hunting them in earnest about mid may to give the youngins a chance to get out and about, but you can shoot them any time of the year as long as you have some warm days. Have made some changes in my guns and their cryin to do some shootin though.

Hey KellyG
You can hunt them all year long just like yesterday it was 78 and no wind and there were a lot of PDogs out. But the best hunting will start about April till about July.

I tend to see them out more and more in the cold, moisture seems to be the biggest factor. No snow or rain and they'll venture out.
