All of my turkey hunting has been in the spring, but I have been invited to go back to my lease (that I have during the spring) for a weekend for turkey, hog and / or varmint hunting this fall season. What are the best strategies for hunting the fall turkeys? Thanks.....

;)Usually see lots of Toms now in groups, and they don't normally come to calls. If you can find their roost, you can get them coming off in the AM, and they will respond to a call in the AM(just won't come to it). Jake or Tom decoys sometimes will work, as well as your deer feeder. They really like the corn! We saw a large flock at our lease at Robert Lee, and they've been staying in about a 100 yard area. Saw 4 big flocks two weeks ago driving to the lease - all were Toms! ;D
