Went out and seen how my 870 would pattern yesterday with a Rem. SuperFull choke and Win. Supreme High Veloscity 3" #5's. Man its funny how you don't feel the KICK when you pull the trigger on a Turkey, but sure does put a hurt on you when your just patterning your gun.OUCH!!!!!I feel for you dumbbutts that shoot 3 1/2"....you just like the pain or what?? Anyway here is what it looked like.... 20 yrds - lets just say it would have taken the head clean off, counted 84 holes above and below the impact area(mid neck)...the impact area of the paper was pretty well shredded!!!Noway to count. 30 yrds. - Had 67 holes in the head and neck. 40 yrds. - Had 39 holes in the head and neck. 50 yrds. - Opened up pretty good 16 holes in the head and neck. I feel REAL good out to 40 yrds....wouldn't want to stretch it any farther. Look good to yall??Come on SPRING!!!!! ;D

::)Hey Shane... yer right on about those 3 1/2" shells; the only time I've shot them it felt like my .300WinMag with 180gr bear claws! I'll just stick to the 3" and let Mr. Browning take care of the rest! Man, SIX MORE WEEKS!

.OUCH!!!!!I feel for you dumbbutts that shoot 3 1/2"....you just like the pain or what?? Hey man. I resemble that remark!! My Benelli doesn't kick that bad - at least when a gobbler is in the sights! .20 yrds - lets just say it would have taken the head clean off, counted 84 holes above and below the impact area(mid neck)...the impact area of the paper was pretty well shredded!!!Noway to count. 30 yrds. - Had 67 holes in the head and neck. 40 yrds. - Had 39 holes in the head and neck. 50 yrds. - Opened up pretty good 16 holes in the head and neck. I feel REAL good out to 40 yrds....wouldn't want to stretch it any farther. Look good to yall??Come on SPRING!!!!! ;D Sounds like your getting the patterns you need to make a decisive kill shot......... I agree about not wanting to go any further than 40 yards, too. Man - I agree with that one!!! ;D ;D
