mine has been going real good,,,i've been huntin private and public fields and have had bird on all my trips

So far so good. Had a really good hunt a little over a week ago. Lots of birds (mainly whitewing) near New Braunfels.
I am planning on going to Dilley this weekend if i can get all my honey-doos done by Friday evening. Dilley ought to be the dove hunting capital of Texas - the hunting there is outstanding!
Opening weekend is about as good as it gets in the USA. Shame the limit is so low......

Talked with Chris Valle of Tejas Outfitters (near New Braunfels) for a few minutes yesterday. He still has a lot of whitewings at his place (good news)  ....... but is expecting some rain this weekend (bad news)  . |

;DOpening day was fantastic. We were near Picoke which is about half way between Gatesville and Copperas Cove. Haven't been able to go since. If I could put a silencer on my Browning, I'd hunt white-wings in the back yard all day. Had a skillet shot yesterday AM on about 16 birds!  |
