Doc just found out he is going to have to be in Oklahoma during our hog hunt. Bummer........

Dead Eye-You are next on the list. I need to know ASAP if you can make it. I will just have you mail Doc your deposit of $100.

Well I just found out that my 260 Rem Switch barrel rifle is not going to be ready in time for this hunt. I guess it's going to be the 7mm-08 and either the .243 or .270 for a back up.

Y'all have fun! Wish I could go, but I've got to work, anyway.

We do have some hogs around the mountains of Tennessee where I live, but they're WILD! They're hunted with dogs, and man, can they run! I've been out after 'em in a group, didn't catch sight of any alive, but I do love to hear that hound music! Saw a lot of hog sign, too. I'm right impressed with how they can root up the ground! They're ugly scraggly razorback looking things for the most part, but Prussian boars have been imported at various times and some look like that.

Hey Ricochet,

This should be a fun hunt. Maybe you will be able to join us on another Member's Hunt down the road. We have quite a few hunters that use dogs here in Texas as well.....and knives and spears........I'll take my rifle or a good hunting pistol.
