OK, y’all the Posse rides again! Our next Posse Member’s Hog Hunt will be June 4th-6th. This will be a 2-day, semi-guided hunt from noon Friday to noon Sunday during the full moon! We will be hunting a low-fenced ranch in southern DeWitt County roughly between Cuero and Victoria. The hunt includes our lodging, breakfast and dinner both days, 2 guides, game cleaning and skinning, hunting from year-round feeders, and fishing for catfish and bass during the day if you wish. We can also hog hunt during the day. It will be getting hot by then and you can usually spot & stalk hogs near water during the day. Three of the feeders are lighted. If you want more than the full moon at night, you should bring a red-lensed hunting light or put a red-lensed light on your scope. There is no limit to the number of hogs you may take. This ranch has a lot of hogs. The cost for this hunt is only $180! We can take 10 hunters on this hunt. If you went on the last hog hunt, I am going to ask you to wait to sign up for this hunt for one week from today. I really want to give as many Posse members as possible a chance to go on these Member’s Hunts. Don’t worry…we will have at least 4 Posse Hog Hunts per year in addition to our other Member’s Hunts. To sign up for this hunt, mail me a non-refundable deposit check for $100 and then make a post in the sign up thread for this hunt. The first 10 members to post are going hog hunting!! Hey CoonDawg,
What's up with all this cooking stuff???
Live with it CD, I can think of alot of reputations worse than being known as a great cook.
Take care,

I gots a question. I just finished a new truck rack for a friend, that has said I could borrow anytime. Since we will be night hunting, would you folks like for me to bring it. It can hold up to 3 shooters at one time plus a light person. Its real comfortable and each of the shooters chairs has gun rests for stable shooting. I can bring it if ya'll want me to, other wise I will leave it here.

captkb, Because of the size of the ranch, I think they want us hunting out the blinds at night to prevent any conflicts. The hogs pretty much hit each of the feeders at night. During the day, any spot and stalk hunting will be on foot near water sources. I would sure like to take that rig for a spin some other night though for some calling! ;D Thanks for the thought!! Bob

O.K. I can understand that. Acutally that hadn't crossed my mind. Leaving it at home will help with my gas mileage anyhow. ;D
