Over the past 3 weeks I've managed to lose about 10 pounds. I've got a good way to go, but it's a start. What I'm getting down with is Dr. Atkins' diet.
This evening I pulled into a local Burger King and ordered a bunless Whopper with cheese. It was apparently the first time the girl on the mic had gotten such an order. She was silent for a few seconds and said, "A double Whopper with cheese?" "No, a bunless Whopper with cheese." More silence. "A Whopper with cheese with no bun?" "That's right."
Then I asked her, "Could I have some potatoless French fries with that bunless Whopper?" That was followed by a much longer period of silence. So I said, "Just dip me up a cup of hot grease and put some salt in it." Silence again, but now I could hear some background giggling. Finally I had to tell her I was joking about the potatoless fries. They forgot the vegetables on the Whopper, but I reckon I'll make it till next time.

I reckon everybody's different. When I've been on low fat high carb diets, I've been miserable for craving meat and cheese. I don't miss the carbs much.

I've been on the no carb diet about a month and have lost about 10 lbs. , but I seem to be stuck there. Lost that wieght the first two weeks and can't seem to get past that. I do miss my carbs(ie: pasta, breads, ice cream, most veggies, and ice cream) but don't have a craving per sey. Not as bad as nicotine when I quit smoking 2 1/2 years ago.

What're you doing for exercise, Benny?
Lately it's been harder for me to get out and walk, my main activity now.
It's time we did something about global warming. Let's all go buy a ton of coal and set it on fire!

Believe it or not, BK is now offering a "bunless" whopper. The best part is...it costs more that a normal whopper!!! I suggest countering this malicious act by ordering a drink, no cup. By the way, my almost-wife is doing the Atkin's diet, lost seven pounds the first week. Man, am I glad I don't have to worry about fitting in a wedding dress!

Yeah, I'd seen Burger King's ads for the bunless Whopper. The girl taking the orders hadn't.
Congratulations to your almost wife on her progress!
Hey, if you do fit into that wedding dress, you don't have to post pictures here. ;D
As of this morning I'm down 12 lbs.
Another 40 or so would be about right.

Richochet, I've started to drop some more pounds, my wife said I'd hit slumps in this and then start losing again. I'm also down 12 lbs. , 20 more to go.

All right!
It's turned sunny here. I'm about to go take the dog out for a nice, long walk.
