youth Hunt guns Donated

Ok, Member I got 3Winchester Model 70 Coyote in 243 this are the Youth /Ladies model. My Gun Smith is goingover them now,he is going to Adjust the triggers,floating the Barrels,and just going over them. I will be looking for scopes for them,I will buy they scopes if IO can't find someone to donated them. I have contacted Bear Basin and SWFA to see if they would donate as of now no word. I also need mounts and Rings for this guns. I think I have the local Wal-Mart to donate the Slings for them. they aslo Donated a Case of Winchester 243 100gr. BTSP to me also. So what I am asking is it you have a Spare Scope that is just laying around and would like to donated it to the Youth hunt Guns I would apperciate it. What I am looking for is a Good 3-9x40mm but anything like that would work.


I have gaven this guns Cases and will be using them in Jan. for the youth hunt. As it stands now I have 6 youths that are from age 12 to 16 y.o. that have completed the Hunter Ed. class I and looking to putting 6 more from the St. Marys Home for children on the list these will be both Boys and Girls.

I f you have any Questions feel Free to ask them,and input would be great.

I will keep you posted,as to when and where the hunts will be.

Hey Kelly,thats one that is scoped now.I got mounts and rings From Bear Basin they donated Burris Sig Series ringsadn Bases and is over nighting them to me.

ok I have the Mounts and all 3 scopes,I was Donated a Swarovski 1.5 to 6 scope to trade off and got 3 Leupold VX2 4-12 scopes for it.I am sorry if someone would of wanted it but I got the deal as Hill Counrty Dist. in Austin so I took it. as it stands now I have everything I need for this 3 rifles.

I would like to Thank everyone for there time and effort,and would like to say if you would like to Donate something to a Youth Hunt I would say gave operation Orphan a call they always need stuff for this kid hunts.

I would also say,if you can gave of your time to be a Guide on one of the hunts it is a great thing to do.

I got all 3 of the guns yesterday and got the Scopes mounted and bore sited. Rick Do a great job on them and I hope to get them Sited in this weekend if the weather will clear abit. I would like to Thank everyone that offered scopes and other stuff.I got them in Hardcases,and they are ready to hunt with.
