I am usuallty a "lurker" on this site but this something I need to say.
Let me start by saying upfront that this story is heart rending. I apologize in advance for that.
Friends of mine and my wife have 2 kids one 4 and the other 2. The 4 year old got sick on Friday the 30th, and went to see the Dr. Dr told mom "he has the flu" and sent her home to with the direction to give him tylenol for the fever and plenty of fluids. On Monday he was still sick, so they went back to Dr. who said the same thing over again and sent them back home. Tuesday comes and still no improvement so mom calls Dr office again and Dr, says "he has the flu and I don't want to see him". Later in the afternoon he seems a little worse another call to Dr. and still the Dr. wont see him.
Later that night The little guys knocks on mom and dads bedroom door. He says he is hungry, so mom gets up and gets him a snack. They sit down and watch a movie together as he can't get to sleep. While sitting there he is talking softly and snuggling with mom al the while he tellign her he sorry for things that he thinks he may have been done "bad". The movie ends and they get up to go to bed. on the way to his bedroom he collapses and he was dead before the EMTs arrived. He died in his mothers arms. Later "mom said it was like he was telling her "good bye"
These poor people are siply distaught with greif and they need all the prayers and kind thoughts this world can possibly provide right now.
Please Pray for these folks.
Also I would like to add this
for all who have loved ones( should be all of us) please let them know how much you care . Tell them what they mean to you! Show them you love them like you would if you knew you will never see them agian.
This whole past week has taught me to do this because we truly never know when it WILL BE THE LAST TIME WE SOMEONE!!!!
