Today I went to the archery range to go practice. Didn't do to bad, trying to get ready for archery season. I get home and my litttle boy comes up to me and points to my bow. I ask him if he wants to go hunting with dad and he says yes. So todat I went and bought him a toy bow and arrow so he could have one just like daddy. It just made me proud that my little boy wants to be just like his daddy.

It is the best feeling in the world, that I get to teach things to my son for the very first time, just passing my knowledge to him of how I was taught to hunt and fish is the best feeling in the world.

Chukarlover, Just wait until he makes his first kill. It will be a special moment that nothing can take away from you, and you will both always remember the exact details of that special hunt. Enjoy your kids, they grow up fast.
