Ok guys...........I know this is a Texas based forum, but all in all it is a hunters forum. That gives me an idea....
As Bob has let it be known, a LOT of the guys are not from Texas, and may be far enough away they would never meet any other posse members, as all the gatherings are in Texas....BUT
What if there was a gathering in a more neutral location for the mid-western guys....lots of people from OK, KS, AR and that general vicinity. It might not be that we could have a hunt, but it might be we could have a get-together/barbeque or whatever over a weekend or something. I don't know how many people would be interested, and maybe not enough to make it worth while, but you never know till you try...so if you would be interested in something like this, please post and let it be known. This is only an idea and there have been no preparations made, nor concrete ideas formulated, so it is open to suggestion. If you might be interested, let it be known by a post on this thread, and we shall see what we shall see.......
It could be at a location where guys who made calls might bring 'em to show/tell, teach.....an open area where there could be a cordial exchange of information, perhaps a state park pavillion or something.....keep the costs way down, have a family atmosphere, and have a lil fun...
