I haven't heard of that one before. What area is it held out of? I know of one in Snyder that weekend, but I don't have a clue as to who is the host.

It's in Hunt County close to Greenville in East Texas.Supposedly it's on of the biggest in East Texas.I was thinking about hunting in it this time.I've heard by some of our local game wardens that it is run very well.Just curious if anyone has hunted it before.

The Hood Taxidermy contest has been moved to March because the contest in Paris is scheduled for the same weekend they were going to have theirs. The Paris contest draws about 100 teams. I have a brochure on the way to me about Hood's contest and will post the details when I get it. You can contact B&B Pawn about the Paris contest at (903) 784-4608.
The Hood contest is for amateurs only.....no professional guides or factory teams are allowed. You can reach Hood Taxidermy at (903)883-5313.

partsman66,
Yes, I am in San Antonio. I have not hunted either contest. I do know that they will not tolerate any aerial gunning or pro teams. They are really monitoring things tightly. Teams from out of the immediate area are welcome, but you better not be a guide of a member of Team Leupold etc.
Give him a call at the number I posted. He will be happy to visit with you. He is not set-up with e-mail.
