Thay sad that test were done by PAgame comm. and it ant no wolf .( yes a coyote) i killed them 55lb but never seen one this big
i don't know if it real or not you tell me

This is another hoax. Someone also tried to pass it off as the new record coyote for the State of NY.

This is from a wildlife biologist from another site that called them to check on what was going on.

"OK Guys and Gals, here's the straight scoop on this 115 pound coyote. I called the Cortland office of the NYDEC and a nice lady told me that the largest coyote on record with them is a 52 pound coyote. The photo posted above here is the photo of the supposedly 115 pound coyote. No one can confirm that it is a coyote, nor did she say they had the carcass so they could do testing. It sounds like another one of those hoax things going around the Internet.

I also talked to a DEC law enforcement officer out of the Syracuse office and the scuttlebut he had heard about the animals in the photo was that the deer was a one year-old buck and that the canid on the ground with it was a neutered red wolf. Yes, a neutered red wolf. It is legal to own wolves where that photo was taken, (either PA or NY, I don't know which) so that animal was probably someone's pet wolf that got shot. The lady I talked to felt that if this was, in fact, a real photo, that it might have been someone's pet. She didn't say it was a red wolf though.

definately a photoshop job, saw the same pic on another forum except in the coyotes place was a groundhog, the same size as the buck.
