Went to the Ft. Worth gun show at Will Rogers today, man are they proud of their used guns, think I made a couple of them mad when I told em I knew where they could buy em brand new for less. I did find some cleaning stuff cheap, and they had some good prices on some reloads. But for the most part everyone was really high, no deals to be found. I hope anyone else that was there found some great deals, but I didn't. I think they sometimes try and take advantage of uninformed people. Another one in a couple of weeks, maybe it will be better. Looking for a used 10/22 mag.

Hey Bennie... next year come to Waco May not be as big as the Cowtown show, but it's a lot cheaper! It was this weekend too! Didn't buy anything, but was tempted on a Romanian AK-47 (SAR); it was priced at $300.00!

Hey Bennie - sounds kind of like the ones we have here in Houston.
I like to go to them, but usually keep my money in my pocket, other than to buy ammo.
If you're interested in a particular gun, wait until just before closing time on Sunday evening and then do some hard dickering....

The same thing with our shows around here most of the time too! I went looking for a used Remington 870 20 gauge, I could have went to Walmart and bought a brand new one in the box cheaper than they were asking for them there! They did not seem to care if they sold any guns or not, I even told one guy he could go to Walmart and buy one cheaper that was looking at one on a table, May not have been the right thing to do but I hate to see these guys taking advantage of people that don't know any better, I remember the days when you went to a gun show and found GOOD prices on stuff. Just where have those days went?

AJC sports out of Clute Texas (ALAN JONES) is very fair. I have meet him at a couple of gun shows and ended up buying a Browing Gold Hunter from him. Gave me a very fair trade in price too. His prices were at least $100 less per gun than most anyone anyone else at the show. I know that he goes to the Saxet show in san Antonio the 1st weekend of every month and sevSral other shows. His office number is 979-265-4867 and no this isn't a paid advertisement. LOL. Just a customer who was treated fairly and hope to buy a handgun from him the next time I run into him at a show. Steve
