Hey Y’all,
I have some very good news for you! We are moving the Posse to a new server……no more “Too Many Connections” messages! We have been growing so fast that it was time for a change. This will result in more expense and a lot more of my time to operate the board, but it is well worth it. We have a great group building here. I want to thank all of you for your support!!
If you have made a post on the Posse, I have already pre-registered you on the new board (one member at a time). I also manually entered the number of posts you made on the old board to count towards your membership status on the new board (I did not move your actual posts…..just the number). I am having to do all of this manually, one keystroke at a time, since I cannot transfer data from this board to the new one. Your user name on the new board is the same as it is here. To login just use your Posse user name and the Password: hunter (all lower case). IMMEDIATELY go to your profile and change your password!
If you have registered on the Posse but have not made a post yet, just go to the new board and register again. It is much easier to register at the new board……no password hassles!!
I have moved some of the key posts to the new board. Feel free to cut and past any threads or posts of yours you wish to keep going on the new board. The old board will still be there, but will be a “read only” board. You will not be able to post there. This will allow you to go back and look at the old posts and to “cut and paste” anything you want to add to the new board. Please go and copy your avatars to the new board. It will take me a while to get them added in to the regular data base. You can do it yourselves for now.
You do not need to sign up for the free rifle contest again at the new board or transfer you entries in any of the membership contests.
The board will change over the next few months as I get better using all of the codes, HTML, ftp, and all the other stuff I don’t understand.
