Went out the last two mornings. Could't hunt all day,as I had to many honey-do's to catch up on. Here are some pictures of how the mornings went. Yesterday I went out with my brother (Brian) and made a couple of stands. This coyote came in on our first stand. I hit the mute button on the FOXPRO and he came to a sudden stop broadside at about 60 yards as if on que, and Brian put one in him to close the deal. Good shooting Brian. . This morning Buckey and I went and made a couple of stands, and here are the results. This bobcat just apeared out of the brush about 10 yards in front of Buckey and sat down staring at the FOXPRO call not 5 yards in front of it. You can barey se her head in the center. Thats Buckey to the left. When she turned her head, Buckey raised his rifle and shot. Right on the shoulder. Good shooting Buckey. Hope ya'll enjoy the pictures Good Hunting Byron ;D

Hey Byron,
I am glad you and your brother got to do some calling together. Those are great photos. I am always amazed at how those cats and just magically appear right in front of you. We would all cringe if we ever knew how many cats we really call in and never see.....
Good Hunting,
Bob

Thanks Guys,
Bob, your exactly right. I'm sure even experienced callers don't see half of what we call. That's why I always get up real slow after calling off a stand. After I get up I alway's study every bush and shadow as I walk around slowly. I have taken quit a few cats that way and also an occational coyote just siting and watching the call. We had a pretty good idea something was coming because he flushed some birds up a couple of time as he approached. We were accually lucky he didn't step out of the brush between us.
Good Hunting

Hey Byron,
Hurry up with that video, boy. I'm dancin from one foot to the other waitin for it.
That ole coyote and that cat was fooled solid and complete. Did you have a decoy out for the cat? Or was he just looking at the sound?

Thanks Slammy.
Vol.II should be finished about May. I've got lots of great footage already, but still plan on filming until the first of March.
Wasn't useing the decoy either time. I kinda wish I had been useing it with the cat. Although he was only about 4-5 yards from the call I didn't get much footage of him before Buckey shot him. It would have been neat to have film of one attacking a decoy. We suspected something was coming, so I turned the FOXPRO way down about 10 seconds before here appeared. I was looking down the road when he poped up right in front of Buckey.
Thanks again and Good Hunting

Byron, howdy, I actually just finished shooting you an email to your coming to the call .com address and noticed you were online. I am eagerly anticipating part II, if it can possibly match part I. I had the opportunity to hunt Texas (I think around Post) when I was just a pup with Murry Burnham. Seeing some of the country in your video really brought back some very fond memories. Thanks
