I took to the hills today to see if I could call in Mr. Wiley Coyote. I made sveral different stands the first two turn out to be a good streach for the legs one third set I was able to call in a nice pair of coyotes but it was not to be for me getting ethier one they were coming in real good when all of a sudden they stop the lead dog stuck his nose straight up in the air then did a quick turn and was off with his companion in tow. I would have sworn that their was not even a slight breeze but thats what I get for thinking well I have been at this long enought to know that their is always next time ;D well you all have a great day Skinner

Hey skinner, First, let me welcome you to the Posse!! I feel your pain, man!! The only steadfast rule in calling coyotes is that there aren't any rules! ;D Byron South and I were talking about this very thing this morning on the phone. All we can do is get as much in our favor as possible. We can get pretty good at picking stand locations and figuring the wind and travel routes, etc. ....... ......but just about then one of them up and does something they aren't supposed to do! It sure keeps it interesting though! Good Hunting, Bob

Welcome.Skinner. Enjoyed the story. If a coyote didn't have such keen senses he wouldn't be near as much fun to hunt.
Keep on em.
