Well I finally got to "break in" my new CZ .223 American today....It was kinda cheap I guess, but it WAS an untried rifle, and you know you HAVE to break 'em in It was one of those "target of opportunity" things...was on the way back home from fishing a little pond across the road..saw this coyote in my pasture running wide open. I hurried up in my truck and got ahead of her just as she entered the woods. I rolled down the passenger window as I didn't have time to get out....saw her trotting at a pretty good clip...I whistled , she stopped.....BOOM......24.3 gr AA 2230, 50 gr TNT......point of shoulder...90 yards....not one step. YAY, now my little new rifle knows what it is all about. She was a nice fat female, in heat, very pretty with no mange etc....very pretty coyote, about 40 - 45 pounds, and DEAD I know it is kinda cheap....but
