Got a chance to do a little calling today. First stand, had a big cat show up out of nowhere (wasn't ready) and get downwind at about 25 yards. He got into the brush before I could shoot but in the process of trying to call him back with lip squeaks, this small cat got in range. Next stand was not productive. 3rd stand the smaller coyote came around a hill right into my lap. He died at about 10 yards. 4th stand produced the second coyote at about 35 yards. The .223 WSSM is a little hard on fur with the factory loads. Can't wait to get some brass saved up so I can load it down a little.
