There will be a waco contest the weekend of march 13 & 14. It should be a good hunt. The contact is Travis @ 254-749-7089.

:)Please keep us posted, the Lake Waco Optimist Club is also having a charity bass fishing tournament that Saturday. The weekend dates should be March 13-14(?)!

okay,
Check-in is located at Focus on Fitness Center 5 1/2 miles north the twin bridges off of Hwy 6 on the right at noon on Saturday. Weigh-in is 12 noon Sunday. 3 man teams children 14 and under can hunt with no addition to the team
Entry fee: $90
It is a point system
5 coyote 4 bobcat 3 red fox 2 gray fox
Big pot on all of the above and coon for $10
As of today we have between 14 to 18 teams

Yeah it is pretty weird. I have access to hunt 3 places within 2 miles of his ranch. Once I was turkey/coyote hunting a place (it has a lot of coyotes so I keep a 22-250 with me) and george w. rode by accross the river on his john deere gator with the secret service with him of course. He just waved at us. Another time, I was deer hunting a different place, and one of their helecopters hovered over me and my buddy for about 2 minutes about 75 yds up. It freaked us out. Many times I go and nothing happens, its okay.
