well i finally did it i got my first double today and i did it with a single shot rifle. i really went to the woods to listen to see if i could hear a turkey gobble at daylight. well i walked around some and hooted on my owl call but no turkeys. so about an hour after daylight since i just happened to have my predator call and my encore .223 i set up and went to calling. it only took about 2 minutes and 2 seperate coyotes ran out into the cutover i was watching. well they both looked at each other like what are you doing here. well i lined up on the one in front of me and shot him in the center of his chest. well when i shot his front end folded and i guess he looked like he had pounced on something and the other one ran over to him to see what he had caught. since it was no longer looking at me i reloaded and shot it when it stopped to look at the other one laying on the ground. this is the first time i have ever called up 2 at one time and i never dreamed it would happen with a single shot rifle.
