I know a guy in Sask. Canada that would probably give us Texans a good run for our money. I know I am way down the list. If I had to make a blind bet, my money is on Byron South.

If I had to guess, another front runner might be Sly Dog. He's quite prolific at making a coyote pile. Sure as hell isn't me. TWO! Brad

Don't think you Texas boys are the only ones that can get BIG numbers lol. If a guy gets over a hunderd animals a year I'd put him in the super hunter catagory. Usually guys that do that are fur hunters and can hunt most anytime they want.
How about the guys that can't go when ever they want and can only hunt a couple two or three weekends a month and still get over a hundred animals, what would you call them? Gods lol. Guys like Q Wagner, Byron South, Slydog and Eddy Blaine are all great guys and great hunters, but there are others and they ain't from Texas lol.
I know a guy named Rick Orelli whom I've competed with and known for 30 years, this guy has more then 2500 animals to his credit on CVCA club records. I've also seen him in person check in 45 coyotes in a competition hunt and I've seen him do it more then once. By the way, he is one of those weekend guys I was talking about lol.
I've taken over a hundred animals a year myself a few times. Back in 81 on just three weekend competition hunts my old hunting partner and I took 69 coyotes, 5 gray fox, 6 bobcats and a badger for a total of 81 critters. I think we took close to 300 animals that year and none of this was in Texas lol.
Now that should prove that it don't take a Texan to get that many critters, just playing with ya lol, Good Hunting.
