We hunted Snyder on Saturday and stunk it up SO much that you'd thunk they'd come in to get some dead meat. So bad we did not drive the 1 hour back to Snyder to check in. Does anyone know who and how much won?

Mark, my friend you are not alone. There were 40 teams entered and only 15 made it back on Sunday for check in. Gary Hightower and his team brought in 20 coyotes to take 1st place. I didn't hear what the payoff was for 1st, but the 2nd place team had 4 coyotes, 4 bobcats and 3 or 4 foxes - took home 2nd place money plus big cat and big dog side pots (something in the neighborhood of $4200). I called the guy that put this hunt on last night as we did not do well enough to make it back on Sunday either. We were the team from Abilene with the tall truck rack in the mud coverd ford.

Cpt: Thank You! it is so frustrating not to have known. Wow! the difference is First and Second alone would have won two of the other contests, Gray should have saved some. It is disheartening to know how bad our team SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This has not been a fun experience up to now, we are at that stage we do not even know what we are doing wrong.
Y'all had a NICE setup man, it was cool, do you hunt three guys or how does that work. We ain't gonna spend no money till we gets sumpin' though.
I cannot find many folks that did well, most kinda slunk off into the night!

That rack is a 3 person set up. One to run the light and two shooters - one up front and one in back. The light guy ususally does all the calling. You won't believe this but before we got started calling on saturday we managed to tear off the shooting rail for the front shooter - one more handicap we could have done without. LOL For night hunting them truck racks make a big difference in my opinion.

;D It is just that kinda stuff that only MEN do. It is cool, you work, plan, dream get all dressed up just like a little kid and you ZAP yourself. All of the times hunting or fishing or whatever, it is amazing! I now know why everything in the Army was so hell for stout, it has to be.
