This is the post from PBHC on the team that won the Snyder, TX hunt. Incredible numbers of yotes, but check the Rotan team for the cash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wining team stated before the hunt they would be hunting West of Andrews, Texas, there ya go, just like the man said, Go West!

Okay, here's the results. We had a total of 39 teams enter the hunt this year. Out of those 39 teams, only 15 came back Sunday to be counted. The 1st Place team from Midland brought in 20 coyotes and won $1,950.00. The 2nd Place team from Rotan brought in 10 coyotes and 4 bobcats which gave them $975.00. The 3rd Place team from Sterling City had a total of 12 coyotes and 1 bobcat and received $390.00. The 2nd Place team also ended up having the largest bobcat, weighing 29.3 lbs. AND the largest coyote, weighing 32.5 lbs. This gave them an additional $3,300.00, making a grand total for the Rotan team $4,275.00, not bad for a day's hunting. All together we had 81 coyotes, 20 bobcats, 7 foxes and numerous rabbits brought in this year. Even though the weather was nice, it seemed that a lot of teams had hard luck calling. My team only brought in 3 coyotes and 1 bobcat which were all shot by 10:00 that night. Not to mention the fact that we missed having the largest coyote by only 6 ounces. A special thanks to everyone who participated. I hope to see everyone again next year. MP
