Loaded up the night rig, Purp, and Ol Tally Ho , new video camera and off to my favorite yote killin' pasture.
First set produced a quick set of eyes not 5 minutes after calling. Big Tom moving in. Purp makes pretty quick work of this one. Have the video set up but forgot to push record,,,,hmf.
Go to set #2 and keep calling with the TH. About 15 minutes goes by and cat #2 shows up. Its a close one and Purp kind of messes this one up,,,,not pretty. Dang camera turned off automatically on this one,,,,oops. Set #3 nada.
Set #4 I break out Tweety for this series. I have the tape rolling the entire set. In comes kitty #3 and tape is rolling. Use the 223 on this one since the last one was rather blown up.
I actually get the entire scene on tape, and he's a jumper !!!!!!! Three cats in one night is a new record for me. 1st shot at 7:30pm and last one at 9:32pm. This makes 14 cats since Jan 2.
