About 5 this evening, Danny calls me up and wants to go calling on his place. He thinks he is over run with cats so off we go. Toby goes with us and is wanting a cat real bad. Sound familar to anyone ?? LOL He has never killed one. We finally make it out to Dan's place and get a good setup. Tape is rolling and I start singing a tune on the TH. 7 minutes into the set eyes are coming in fast. I throw the scope up and a cat is running in. I tell Toby to get ready and shoot. I get the cat stopped and he sits in front of us about 60 yards out. Toby cranks off with his 17 Rem but misses,,, Cat Fever. I go ahead and dust him with a head shot. Second stand produces a huge coon. It comes running in to the TH too. Toby makes short work of this one. Didn't see another set of eyes the rest of the night. I think I have Toby hooked on calling. This is his second trip out with me and we have managed to take critters each time. Pics are Toby holding his coonta and my cat. Of course, yours truly is holding his cat. The neat thing is , I got all of the action on tape. This is getting to be fun !!!

Hey Bob, Congrats on another good night hunt! Tell Toby to hang in there on the cats. I took one of my friends out who is a crack shot and excellent big game hunter and put him on 12 coyotes before he hit one.......extreme coyote fever. After #1 it gets a whole lot better. I downloaded your photos and lightened them up a bit for you. You can copy them from here and put them back on your computer to use "elsewhere". Good Hunting, Bob
