Ok here is the deal on my bobcat,
Really didn't get to do a lot of hunting this week it was pretty much about the young hunters that we took this year. It turns out that these kids were really good hunters and could take directions and roll with them. And shoot they could, are kids in pa can’t hunt to there 12 years old and they are not my family so a lot of them did not have a lot of time in the field. But we did are at home range time and a lot of talking before The trip and I will tell you THEY DID GOOD. So on thru. Day they all went to Mexico to shop a relax and I had the afternoon to my self. It was about 12:30pm they heeded out and I hit the brush I new it my be late in the day to call cats but I thought some time is better then no time and out I went! Earlier in the week I called in a nice female cat for one of the kids and we got busted, and I rather not say how but we had more then a couple of laffs over it. So I thought this would be the place for me to try. I really do not walk real well so I do a lot of calling from my truck. I checked my wind and came in down wind and parked right up to a gas well head to brake up my trucks out line I waited about 10 minuets and started out calling. I called for about 40 seconds and stop. Nothing, Called agen and could see some thing moving slowly tords me but could not make it out I called in about 30 raccoons this week an thought that this was a another one. But I thought it was funny that mid day coons we real odd so I called agen but real soft and that is when I seen him. He must have got in front of some thing and had to jump it and I seen him jump over it and new it was a cat. Ok now my hart is pounding out of my chest and I try to lip squeal him in the last 25 yards and my lips were so dry I could not do it so I just sat there figeruring that curiosity my kill this cat. Minuets latter and nothing so I reached in to my pack got out some water and hit him with the best hand sucking you over herd and that was what he needed to here he cam out at a full run and got a good 30 feet out in front of me and I just hit him with one quick squeak and he stopped. Now I could not stop shaking or steady my gun and then he did it he laid rite down like he was lowering his prophile and I was abill to get steady enough for the shot and I took it and it was over! I sat there looking at how beautiful he was and i felt the sorrow that always hits me after the shot but he was a grate opponent and will live on in my memories as the trophy that he is. never seen that female cat but i think he was hunting her also?
BIG GEORGE p.s sorry about the spelling
