I don't know how many of you guys have ever called in a bear but if you have never done it and you like to feel the rush, then bear callin is the ticket. I have been doing it for about 10 years and every year it just gets better. The last bear I shot at 7 yards after calling him over 170 yards. he came to a Rich Cronk bear call and I shot him at to close for comfort range with my 50AE handgun.
WHAT A RUSH!!!!!!! if you have bear in your area and a good friend to back you up give this a try. It will make you week in the knees when they get close.
Rich Cronk builds the only bear call that will get their attention and keep it, without making you blue in the face and light headed from blowing it. Boys let me tell you, I know for a fact that this call works. Last fall I called in 4 big boar and 3 sows with cubs in 6 days of hunting. I'm counting down the days till spring bear starts.

Rick, If you are going to use a pistol get a backup buddy you trust with your life.......... and the pistol needs to produce at least 1500 fp of energy at 50 yards. Remember they are commin to EAT,,,,YOU... and you want to make the first shot count. Cronks call is in my opinion THE very best bear call made I saw my first set of bear tracks this morning,, I can't wait........... sly

SLYDOG, in all the years I've been calling, I have called in two bears. I don't usually hunt bear country, that's why I have not called in more. I didn't do any calling when I was in Idaho, but I saw a few coyotes. Funny thing.... everyone I saw was running like hell when they seen my truck lol. Kinda tells me they've been shot at and missed a few times. I talked to some of the locals in Grangeville and Elk City about predator hunting, seems they didn't know or care that much about it. The way those coyotes ran away somebody cares, but they need to spend a little more time at the range lol. Good Hunting.
