Its been a long time since I've hunted varmints and I'm not sure of the laws. Can someone tell what Texas law is on varmint hunting, night hunting, lights, selling furs etc. ?

pencil5757, I assume you live in Texas? Basically, it is pretty simple. You are allowed to take coyotes, mountain lions, bobcats, and foxes with your regular hunting license. You may hunt at night in Texas on private land with lights for predators. You may also use electronic callers. There are some restrictions if you plan to sell the pelts on bobcats and foxes. Here is the link to the information you need at TPWD: www.tpwd.state.tx.us/publications/annual/hunt/nongame/Good Hunting, Bob ps-I looked at your profile and saw you listed your location. I added it to your Personal Text so it would show on the board. If you do not want it to show under your picture/avatar, just change it back. Bob
