Anyone tried a Yote buster coyote call? Quote from The new predator masters magazine The unique Yote Buster Coyote Call is a universal coyote call that produces a variety of sounds: jack-rabbit distress, cottontail distress, canine distress, coyote howl, prarie-dog bark and numerous squeaks. With little effort it can be blown loud or soft, creating high frequency pitches that coyotes love. A sliding cylinder allows reed setting at different points to produce the sounds. www.elkinc.com/GAMECALLS_yb.aspx

I have one, it's actually a pretty good call. I prefer a louder call where I live, but the Yote Buster works quite well. My partner has one with a broken reed (split) It's the most awfull sounding thing you could imagine, and it's called in more coyotes that way than than any other call that either of us have. It's funny how much difference there is between what appeals to our ears, and what appeals to theirs.

I have seen and blown a Yote Buster, but do not own one. Since they have the built in reed protecter, the little Yote Buster would be handy to stick in your pocket and keep it there at all times so that you are never caught without a call with you. I was not impressed with the quality of sound produced by the Yote Buster but that is just me. I'm sure that the Yote Buster would call critters just fine, and that is the main thing ain't it?
