The new Loudmouth caller is in production mode as I type this message. The test model that I have been playing with for awhile now is top notch in every way. Keep your eyes open for this new caller fellows, it is the hottest thing in electronic callers that I have ever tried.

Rich,
I know you have done at least one hunt with the new Loudmouth.....and called in and took a coyote! Please keep up posted on it's performance and ease of use in the field as you get more testing done.

Bob, You are exactly right sir. One hunt, one stand, one coyote. I hope to collect the rest of that coyote family very soon.

This is the unit Rich is talking about and the coyote he took with it on his first field trial: Rich, How is the volume and sound quality compared to the JS-512 and Fox Pro? Can you change sounds easily and quietly? Bob

Bob, The realistic sounds that the itty bitty speaker on that Loudmouth can reproduce must be heard first hand in order to believe it. Of the sixteen sounds I have loaded on my Loudmouth right now, only two are sounds of actual critters. The puppy squeals and the turkey sounds that Spanker loaded on this call sound absolutely REAL. The volume is more than adequate, very loud to be honest. I havn't turned the volume all the way up yet. The other 14 sounds on my Loudmouth are sounds I made myself with my own vocal chords, lip squeak variations and recordings of calls that I also made myself. Look closely at the above coyote photo. See the itty bitty hole just behind left front leg? That is an EXIT hole caused by 100 grain Sierra "pro-Hunter" at 3200 fps. Love that .257 Ackley!

Rich
I am very interested in this new caller....stringing out speaker wire for the old JS 512 is getting older every trip! Do you have a close idea of what the loudmouth will sell for???

The Loudmouth starts at $349 without remote control to $539 with remote control. No not cheap - this is a serious hunting weapon just like your rifle. Made in the USA. Oozes quality - well thought out - built for the hunter who demands quality, hunts hard, expects no demands his hunting equipment to stand up and perform under all conditions. AP

Gonhunting, I know how it is with sticker shock. To make the Loudmouth caller in the US cost me aprox 40,000 dollars more than making it over seas. I put my house up to make this happen. All I can tell you is this. It's worth the price and more. I also give a money back satisfaction guarantee. Best I can do.

.......right from the "Loudmouth" himself! ;D
Hey PS,
Welcome to the Posse! I can't wait for the units to start shipping and get more field reports. I hope you are making a lot of them. Why don't you tell us about the unit in detail......calls, how remote works, distance it will work, switch sounds on a stand, etc............

Bob, I can tell you that the sound card has two banks. Eight sounds on one bank, eight sounds on the other. The top left button on remote is bank #1, while top RIGHT button is bank #2. To play a sound that is on bank one, you simply press top left button. Then you press button one thru eight, depending which button your sound is under. If the sound you want is in bank one, position one, then you would press top left button once to tell machine you want to play a sound on bank one. Then press top left button again to tell machine to play the sound in position one. Clear as mud? I have tested the remote from distance of 200 yards in perfect line of sight conditions and it worked just fine. I am confident that the remote will work to over 100 yards under most field conditions with no problem, and that is plenty far enough for me. Uploading sounds onto the Loudmouth isn't really hard, but can be a bit tricky. I have found that if I have volume on my computer speakers set too high, it will distort the internal microphone on the Loudmouth so that you don't get good clean sound. Part of this is probably do to my cheap Radio shack microphone that I use to record my own sounds. I plan to purchase a better microphone for my computer because I prefer to use sounds that I create myself.

Jay,
Did you get a chance to try the LM in the field this past weekend while you were dunk testing the Prey Master?
