A question for the experts. I have decided on a Loudmouth. I live in So. Tex. and have access to hunting opportunities both South and North West of Corpus Christi. Lots of game. What would be a good allaround combination of sounds for a 16 sound card and or two cards [32 sounds] ? I want to call coyotes, bobcats, coon, javelina, wild hog, deer, crow, turkey, quail, and hawk. I know some calls work on more than varmit. Any help appreciated as to brand and combination that could be downloaded. Thanking you in advance, Hoot Gibson

Hoot, You can get by with the 16 sound card the unit comes with - if your looking for some sounds to download - start with www.varmintal.com I have found super sounds on the internet by doing a google.com key word search. Don't get me wrong - many of the sounds loaded to the stock sound card are great but I love experimenting with different sounds. As for turkey, elk, and crow sounds, I found so many good ones that can be downloaded for personal useI stoped looking. Heres a coyote I got this AM with downloaded sounds (thanks to Varmint Als "greeting howl, Rich Cronk's Howl, and the pc2 and 3 from Varmint Al's) Anyway, good hunting

"What would be a good allaround combination of sounds for a 16 sound card and or two cards [32 sounds] ? I want to call coyotes, bobcats, coon, javelina, wild hog, deer, crow, turkey, quail, and hawk" ----------------- Rabbit distress, Flicker or yellowhammer, Cronk's 2pupLip will call a lot of coyotes, bobcats javelina, crows and hawks. The woodpecker distress or a coon puppy distress will call a lot of coons at night. Ask for the crow calling sounds for the Loudmouth if you want to call crows a lot. Deer grunts and soft bleats will call deer in late fall. Fawn or jackrabbit distress calls mule deer real well and sometimes whitetails. If coyote is your main target, you may want to add a lonesome howl and a high pitched challenge. I have a brand new sound that will be very good for all predators that I call DeathLip. It sounds like a very distressed fawn or large jack rabbit. I made it with one of my lip squeak tricks. I think it is going to maybe call a cougar for me also. Whooeeeee!

Thank everone for your advise. I will put it to good use. Bobcat, re: the picture, I was nicknamed after him altho I'm sure I'm not the only one. For info he was a rodeo cowboy during the silent movie days. Ordered my Loudmouth yesterday, along with several Cronk sounds pre-installed. Looking forward to taking pictures of some past tense critters and making a bunch more of them nervous. I'm keeping four open slots for future sounds. Little cool front with a lite mist blew in today. Sure makes a fellow want to get out in the woods. Later, Hoot Gibson
