Well.......I finally took the plunge. I ordered a new Loudmouth remote caller today. As most of you know, I have been been comparing all of the wireless remote e-callers out there for some time. I decided that the Loudmouth best fit my needs and my style of calling. I am getting the one with Uncle Ted's Snake Skin camo. I wanted to get it in time for my trip to New Mexico to hunt with Dead Eye and BozoWise. Bob

Hey Mikie,
Personally, I would get the Loudmouth without the remote for $349. You can always add a remote to it later when the funds are available. With the LM, you can load your own sounds and change sounds anytime you want without sending it back to be reprogrammed or having to buy an adapter for $40 to load your own sounds. You can also buy blank sound cards which you can load 16 sounds on so you can have as many sounds as you wish by just switching out a sound card.
The Foxpro's are very good units also. The hunters I know that have them swear by them also.
Good Hunting,
Bob

Oh Buddy,
I'll be interested to hear how you like it. Seems to be getting really good reviews. LOUD, CLEAR and works as advertised. Keep us informed.

Predator just bill me on the shipping if we need to rush it out. I want to see that caller in action next weekend. I might have to order one if it is a success. Bob, Bring the long underwear it is getting cold and rainy out. Just got a ton of 270 loaded and ready ;D

Bob congrats on your new toy. You will enjoy it. Hi Mikie, just wanted to add my 2 cents. Purely informational. I am a field tester for FP but wanted to add one thing. For about $450 you can get an FP with remote and the adapter to download sounds. It is such an easy process to change sounds my kids can do it, and have. It depends what you are looking for. Both are very good callers. The technology is basically identical. The main difference is the removable soundcard on the LM. I prefer a self contained nature of the FP due to the harsh conditions I call in sometimes. That is just my opinion though. And the service of FP is outstanding. Fast and reliable. Whichever you choose you will be sure to have fun. Good calling to you.

Bob,
I'll pass on the info. I'll be stuck at work on Fri-Sat but we can do some spotlighting if you want at the end of each day. I'll have all day Sun and any of Mon you want to hunt before you leave. It has been misty rain for the last 2 days but should be clearing up late today. I'm getting in some range time in the am with the pre 64 270. Had to work up some goat and yote loads for it.

Curt,
If you are going to promote Foxpro, please keep the facts straight. I don't want any sly insinuations. You left out the fact that by going that route he is limiting himself to 8 sounds. The remote caller with 8 sounds is $429.95 and the adaptor you need to load your own sounds is $39.95. That totals $469.90 not $450. You also imply that you got a Foxpro because you don't think the Loudmouth will hold up in the harsh conditions you hunt in because of the sound cards. You also know there are more differences than the sound cards and that they are not indentical. I have no problem with you telling how good your caller is. It is. Mike Dillon has put together a very good caller. Just don't come in here and start a back and forth thing or start trying to put down a competitor, however politely........it won't last. It got out of hand with the crew at PM and it will not be tolerated here. I may not have said anything if 3 of your 5 posts since joining the board had not been trying to promote Foxpro over Loudmouth whenever someone mentions the Loudmouth. It smacks too much of someone with an axe to grind.
Mikie,
Sorry 'bout that. I just wanted to make sure the facts were clear. If you decide to get a Foxpro, you will enjoy it and it will work well for you. As I said, I recommended the Loudmouth without the remote to fit the budget you said you needed to try and keep close to and the fact that you specified a caller with 16 sounds. This way you get a unit that starts out with 16 sounds like you asked for that can be upgraded to a remote later. You can also get additional sound cards and have as large a sound library as possible. I didn't recommend it because there is anything wrong with a Foxpro. There isn't. They are great units and if you decide they fit the bill better for you, great! You really can't go wrong with either one. Both callers have very loyal and successfull owners. Different features appeal to different hunters. There is nothing wrong with either of them. They are however, different.
Good Hunting,
Bob

Hey Mikie,
No, they are not the same person or the same company. This Mike Dillon owns Foxpro.
