Hey Rich, I hope you are rebounding from your surgery quickly!! I know that you have recorded and used a lot of the distress and howling sounds you make with your custom calls onto your Loudmouth. What sounds have worked the best for you, not just on the e-caller, but in the field? Also, where can we locate your recorded sounds to download? How about a little tutorial?? Thanks Rich, Bob

Bob, I have been looking in to possibility of purchasing space on one of those sites that host wav files, so that I could post my sounds on any bulletin board such as this one. You can hear most of my sounds over on Huntseek board but I don't think they can be downloaded from there. Right now the only ways I have to get my sounds to you is via E mail or mailing you a floppy disk. Sometimes the sounds pick up static when sent via E mail, so clearest sounds seem to come when I save em on floppy disk and mail them to folks. I have a couple of coyote vocalizations that work in the field. They are recordings of me blowing a cow horn howler. Other sounds of mine that are being offered on Loudmouth calls are variations of my lip squeak. I have seen posts on another board that my 2pups lip is calling coyotes for people. Some other sounds that I havn't used much in the field yet are DeathLip and Cronkensqueal. Deathlip is what I was using when the cougar was growling and coughing at me awhile back but would not show himself. That sound is sort of a cross between a distressed fawn and a jack rabbit. Cronkensqueal is recording of me blowing on a split stick type of call that I made in my shop. It sounds a lot like a hyper ventilating cottontail.
If you find a way to host wav files on this board, I would be glad to post links to any of my sounds that members want to hear. I could also do an online seminar on howling coyotes. It would be similar to the seminar I did on another board, but my technique has changed somewhat since that seminar.
I have certain howls that I do with my own vocal chords that work in the field, and sound ok on my computer speakers. For some reason, my voice howls don't sound good to my own ears when I load then on the Loudmouth and play them through that little horn speaker. I am still working on that little problem. Rich

Hey Rich,
I'd be willing to purchase a disc or floppy from you if that fits in with your plans. I figure you might have some pretty good sounds worth trying. Let me know.
I'll put em to a good Texas field test.

Hey Rich,
For right now, you work on getting back up to speed and feeling 100%. I think the seminar on howling would be great.......just let me know or simply start when you want to.
By the way, I like the new Cronkenqueal and Deathlip!
I have the Pup Lip and 2Pups Lip on my Loudmouth now.
Good Hunting,
Bob

Bob
There doesn't seem to be any problem downloading sounds from the Huntseek site. Just click on the view download and then hit the download now button. I'm downloading them into a Cronk Wav folder. Aol multi media will open them. I have no idea if they can be uploaded to loudmouth or others from that point.
Rich, could you maybe post the Cronkensqueal on Huntseek?
Dennis

I have had many successful Loudmouth owners tell me they called critters with Rich Cronk sounds. I think it's great that Rich is generous enough to share his sounds with everyone.
