Does anyone have one of these or have any remarks about them? They have a remote one now that seems alot more economical than the Fox Pro. Has anyone had any success with one?

There is a reason some units cost more. With the Phantom you are locked in to their sounds.....which, IMHO, are not the best out there. Let me just say that I know a lot more folks that got them and sold them than got them and kept them. FYI-Foxpro is about to announce several new units with new features and different price points. They are being field tested right now....... Loudmouth was supposed to be coming out with a new much lower priced non-remote unit which would be upgradable to a remote later........we have not heard anymore about it. Johnny Stewart is about to bring out the Bush Whacker which will be less expensive as well. If you want a unit today in that general price range you may want to get a Johnny Stewart Prey Master......but I would wait.......... Good Hunting, Bob

Lots of stuff happening in the e-caller arena - Burnham Brothers new Compucall II retail $299 I checked the unit out at the Shot show and it sounded and looked good...very light weight. The remote worked at approx 250 yards inside the building. We have some backordered, the bad news is they will not be in till late MAY. - I also checked the new version Phantoms out (with remote controls) - I think the have made significant improvments in sound quality. - The bush wacker will be a something to consider in the Fall (if it's ready by then). It has a very high tech remote control with LCD, 8 sound cap, and the entire JS sound library.. My only concern is the weight of the umit I checked out was approx 6 -7 pounds.. a little on the heavy side. - The Western Rivers Predation... mp3 with all those free sounds @$259. Thats not to much damage to your wallet. - Loudmouth.. Sold out again.. another shipment in 7 days... Secret inprovements in work ...
