For me its that time. I went to the gunsmith last friday and had mounts and rings changed for the 50 mm scopes I had on rifles. Then got them bore sighted. Win Model 70 .223 and rem 7400 3006 (on this rifle I had see through mounts on it and the scope was so big you couldn't see the sights anyway..lol) I had a leapold system put on with high mounts. On the .223 my dad had a 40mm 6-24 scpe and I changed it out to a 3-12 50mm scope so I needed to change from medium to high mounts too. Going to go deer hunting thanksgiving weekend and they said might try some varmints while I'm there. Has anyone ever hunted out by Hondo?

I used to hunt out that way. Still go hog hunting south of Uvalde. I never had any trouble but I watched the speedometer real close.

My deer lease is in Medina County, just outside of Hondo. Have hunted the area surrounding Hondo all of my life. Decent deer, lots of hogs, and a limitless supply of yotes for your shooting pleasure!
