I dont know what happened ???as for a starter rifle the 243 would be ok it would double as a ram/deer/hog and with lighter bullets would do as a coyote/pdod(a bit heavy but it would work)if you can get it for a good price ,but dont scrimp on the scope(as a do everything rifle you need the very best scope you can afford)personally I would look at a 25-06 or a 270win boltaction,savage makes a great one(I just dont like the new triggers)
